Virtual prototyping (over night service)

Provide Virtual prototyping in parallel to your own traditional design.

Aim :

1. Provide parallel support during YOUR design. We can help you choose different designs (size, source, position of the source, etc.).

2. Provide the photometric result before building the first prototype

Input : We need to receive by e mail your CAD file: in SAT or IGES or STEP format.
The reflector type can be chosen in our library ( Alanod, Alcoa) or set up for you. In case of refractive 2000 materials.

The source can be chosen in our library or set up for you.

Output : We deliver you results as photometric curves, efficiency, illuminance map, location of absorbed rays and so on.

Delivery time : as standard , it is an overnight service. You send your new request for calculation (before 5.00 pm) and you receive the result the next day (10.00 am). Input information must be exact and complete.

Confidential Agreement : We do have a standard agreement form, or can use yours if preferred.

Price : The first simulation is free. Then, since we are using a ray-tracing software, accuracy depends on the number of rays calculated. We can get gut feeling with 10/30 000 rays, but for accurate results 500 000 to few million rays are required. The price for the calculation is 1 Euros for 1000 rays traced.

Example 1 : Complete survey including 5 grossary simulation ( +/-30-40%) with 50 000 rays each to explore roughly different solutions ( lamps , material or reflectors) , 3 more accurate simulations (+/-10%) to choose between reflector shape or lamp position with 150 000 rays each, and 1 very accurate simulation before manufacturing the first prototype with 500 000 rays (+/-5%) : total price 1 200 Euros ¤
Exemple 2 : lamp tolerancing for 5 positions, so 5 times 100 000 rays: total price 500 Euros ¤
Example 3 : one vey acurrate simulation ( in the range of -/3% or better) with 1 000 000 rays: total price 1000 Euros ¤

Payment conditions : All payments must be settled before starting any calculation via our web site (credit card or wire transfer,SWIFT).

NOTES :
1. We do reserve the right to extend delivery time in case of too large calculation that could not possibly be achieved in one night
2. We allow us to refuse doing a simulation if we consider information given are not sufficient.
3. The first free simulation is delivered with 10 000 / 50 000 / 100 000 / 500 000 so that you are in a position to assess the accuracy versus number of rays.
4. You need not to allocate any specialist for this calculation : any CAD designer can work on it with us.
