New office : We are pleased to announced that Light Tec Sarl has opened one branch, Light Tec GmbH, in Munich, Germany. This new office , 130 m², is located in downtown Munich, on the U5 line. The purpose of this new office is to be closer to the German market and to the Eastern European countries. It includes a nice training room where we will organize LightTools Code V and RSoft training every month.
The team is managed by Rainer Foedisch, Master in Optics, and former sales manager at company OEC. Martin Djiango,(PH.D. in optics) is in charge of LightTools technical support, training and illumination designs. Dmitriy Vorontsov, (Master in Optics) is in charge of CODE V and technical support mainly for Russian users. 2 extra applications engineers for CODEV and LightTools will join the team in 2014.

We are pleased to announce that Company Sigmadyne develloping the software SIGFIT® , has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with LightTec to support this software in Europe and Russia. SIGFIT is a nice suite of software allowiing to calculate themal effect in finite element software and interface this shape via polynomial fitting towards Optical Design Sotware. MINI-DIFF ® is the smallest and affordable BRDF/BTDF measurement systems available on the market. It has a the size of one 1liter bottle, measures the scattering distribution of the surface you are pointing at, in reflection or in transmission.
